MCT 2016-17 9th Annual DEKALB SuperSpiel November 18-21, 2016

DEKALB SuperSpiel to once again double 2016 entries
in both mens and women’s curling event

We hope you will plan on joining us for our 8th annual DEKALB SuperSpiel. The dates will be November 18 -21, 2016.  We are once again having the men’s team count as 32 teams since we had a long waiting list last year. Prize money would increase to $45,000 which would include pay per win until playoffs.   (subject to full entry and sponsorship). The women’s event will remain the same as last year with 32 entries and a purse increase of $45,000. Both events will feature pay per win until playoffs ($75 / win).

The other exciting news is last year we expanded into an arena setting. The event will continue to be played in the Morris Curling Club and the Rosenort arena. We are fortunate to have Greg Ewasko as our Arena Ice maker and use the Curl Manitoba rocks. Greg is the ice maker for the Manitoba Women’s Scotties and the Manitoba Safeway Championship as well as doing ice at many Canadian and world events.  This is a great opportunity to play on arena Ice !!
 
Like in the past we ask that you send us an entry cheque ($1000) Men or ($1000) Women postdated September 15, 20165 for the 9th annual DEKALB SuperSpiel.  This secures your spot for this year.  In the event that things change in your planning for the fall season please contact Brian by September 14 before we cash your cheque.  Questions—Lorne 204-712-5842 or Chris 204-746-3330 or Brian 204-746-6618
